Nicolas de Alejo
CEO (Compassionate executive officer)
Nicolas (he/him/his) is a social health & well-being entrepreneur and serves as both the CEO and CFO of Men Care Now. He has extensive training in multiple mindfulness and movement modalities including RYT-500 (Pure Yoga) and several advanced yoga training programs with YogaWorks, Maty Ezraty, and other teachers. Trained neuroscience meditation teacher with emphasis on love & kindness, compassion teachings and breathwork. Nicolas teaches yoga and other movement techniques and has experience sharing his practice at various NYC studios including Pure Yoga and Chelsea Piers and also with various men's circles and yoga communities including Sacred Sons and NFS Underground Yoga. Nicolas serves as corporate wellness researcher & strategist and investor (health & wellness) and previously worked in healthcare and financial services. He is particularly interested in the intersection of public health and yoga.
Dr. Ernesto lira de la rosa, Ph.D.
CIO (Compassionate inclusion officer)
Ernesto (he/him/his) is a research lead for Men Care Now. He received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and trained in diverse settings, such as hospitals, community health centers, and nonprofits that provided mental health services to survivors of sexual abuse, veterans, racial and ethnic minorities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. His professional interests include, trauma-related disorders, anxiety and depression, substance abuse, acculturation, first generation college students, racial and ethnic identity development, as well as sexual and gender identity development.
Kaz (he/him/his) was raised in the Los Angeles spiritual community and was drawn at an early age to the role of the spiritual advisor in Hollywood. After twenty years in the entertainment industry, participating in nearly every facet from film and television to co-founding a renowned music festival he currently shares his experience as a talent manager, coach and spiritual advisor. Becoming a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) and MCN Love & Compassion Ambassador with Men Care Now further allowed him to provide his clients with a unique offering in the current mentor landscape.

Aaron Scott
CSO (Compassionate Sports Officer)
Aaron (he/him/his) is a lifelong learner, coach, athlete, and most importantly an influencer of health and wellness in the community. Coach Scott has extensive training and background in sports, movement, and mindfulness modalities and has over a decade of experience working with elite athletes, high school students, and members of the community of all ages on improving performance. His certifications and background include: Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and MCN Love & Compassion Ambassador with Men Care Now, NASM-Performance Enhancement Specialist, CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. Coach Scott partners with schools, CrossFit boxes, gyms, and sports facilities such as Sound Mind Sound Body Football Academy to teach skills and techniques that increase strength, endurance, and flexibility. He also incorporates mindfulness and yoga into his coaching and player development.
Dr. Loren Fishman, M.D., B Phil., (oxon.)
CMO (Compassionate medical Officer)
Loren (he/him/his) leads all alignment and medical yoga training as well as research-based efforts. He blends decades of medical and holistic experience to help structure and deliver programming for Men Care Now. Loren is on the staff at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons with a private practice in New York City. He is known for using electrophysiological diagnoses for low back pain and piriformis syndrome, and using alternative methods, especially yoga, in treating orthopedic and metabolic conditions. Loren is the author or editor of over 100 academic articles and has written many books including Trust: The spiritual impulse after Darwin and Healing Yoga: Proven Postures to Treat Twenty Common Ailments.
Michael okech
Recovery Lead
Michael (he/him/his) is a master trainer and movement educator. A natural aptitude and talent for sport led him to play Rugby for Canada, USA, France and England. While in Paris, Okech earned his MA in Business Administration from Schiller University and is working on his Masters of Science in Applied Neuroscience from King's College London. He holds numerous qualifications in movement therapies including Postural Restoration, Fascial Stretch therapy, NASM, ACSM, and Coherent Breathing and Yoga Breathing.
GIOVANNI ROSELLI
Biomechanics lead
Giovanni (he/him/his) is a nationally recognized fitness coach, author, and presenter. As a man of many talents, the former WWE Superstar known as “Romeo” has also professionally acted alongside some of the world’s top actors including Tina Fey, Mickey Rourke, and James Franco. He is currently a Master Instructor for ViPR PRO and it’s parent company, Institute of Motion. Giovanni also serves as a Master Instructor for Kettlebell Athletics and CoreTex® Fitness. He has worked as a Master Trainer, content creator, and education consultant for Nike, and designed the nationally launched Equinox signature class ‘Fully Loaded‘.
Aaron powell
Sports Research & Education Lead
Aaron (he/him/his) has been mentoring and training male students since 2016 on how to handle real-life situations and discuss topics relevant in the national conversation especially concerning people of color. Aaron also served as the Treasurer for the Male Development Association. His passion for social activity also lends to research as Aaron is a research associate for BeingWell Lifestyle where he researches sports, wellness and personal health sectors to create thematic content for social understanding. He is also the founder of the Young Men's Development Council for Men Care Now and assists with development and engagement strategies.
